Because these bundles are genuine virgin human hair, their colors may vary. With that said, typically bundles are in #1B color.
Are the bundles full and thick?
Each bundle is about 100g (around 3.5oz) and the hair strand length ratio is natural, meaning it’s full and thick. However, not double drawn, meaning every strand is not exactly the same length.
How many bundles do I need?
For average head size:
12” to 14”: 2 bundles
16” to 20”: 3 bundles
22” to 24” 3 to 4 bundles
26” to 30” 4 bundles
This is with or without a closure or frontal. With that being said, you can always add one more bundle if you want it to look very full and thick.
Is this human hair?
All the hair is 100% unprocessed human hair because it is directly cut from one donor with full cuticles aligned.
What is the difference between 6A, 7A, and 8A grade hair?
All hair 6A, 7A, 8A grade are unprocessed natural virgin hair and could last more than one year with proper care. Also, hair is classified by 6A, 7A, 8A based on how the hair reacts when being colored or bleached. For that reason, higher grades can endure more coloring, bleaching (getting up to #613 blonde), and heat. Slay Baddie only offers 7A and 8A grade hair.
Will the hair shed or tangle?
Slay Baddie bundles are wefted with intact and aligned cuticles. This prevents the hair from tangling like most other bundles do. However, please be aware that ALL human hair has the possibility to tangle if it is not maintained. You will experience EXTREMELY limited shedding if the hair is properly cared for. With that being said, shedding is unavoidable and would happen the same way if the hair was growing straight from your head. Use of a silk bonnet or wrap while sleeping along with keeping the hair clean and conditioned are the best ways to ensure your investment lasts for years.
Can the hair be colored or bleached?
Yes. Easily. When using hair bleach we recommend nothing stronger than a 20 volume developer. Be sure to keep the hair conditioned and moisturized. Also note that coloring or bleaching process will hurt natural hair if not done correctly so we suggest taking the hair to professional salon if needed.
How do I make the hair last?
This hair last for as long as you take good care of it. It doesn’t require special maintenance. A good leave-in conditioner is advised for moisture after the second re-use of the hair. Avoid using oil spray on this hair as it will make the hair very shiny and appear ‘wiggy’. Natural hair products suggested.
